Chardonnay - Sierra Foothills

A delicate balance of oak aged wine combined with fresh stainless steel. Classic Chardonnay flavors of golden apple and pear are accompanied by honeysuckle, quince, lemon, and even some bubblegum. New oak aging provides butter, cake batter, with hints vanilla, coconut, and all-spice. Full bodied with a smooth and silky finish.

Winemaker Notes: Our 2016 Coquette is a fun, flirty Muscat blend. Golden in color, it has loads of overripe fruits – apricots, peaches, pears and red apples. Slight hints of tangerine, lilies and spice come through as well. Sweet, but with enough acidity to balance it pleasantly.

Winemaker Notes: A very pale straw color in the glass. The nose is bright and citrusy with notes of grapefruit, lemon and lime with a touch of pear, mango and melon. Citrus notes follow on the palate, accompanied by green grassy notes and hints of fresh herbs opening up to jalapeno. The finish is long yet clean, and very refreshing.

Winemaker Notes: Pale with silver tinges in the color, this wine opens with aromas of lime peel, grapefruit pith, sea breeze, fresh herbs and green grass. It also has notes of almond, pear and a great minerality. On the palate it is mineral driven again with good acidity and a great mouthfeel for a lighter wine.
2018 White Barbera

Winemaker Notes: 100% Barbera done in a white wine style. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, green tea and candied citrus fruits jump from the glass. The entry is big with tart peach and melon on the palate accompanied by more citrus notes. The large entry is followed by a nice acidity pop and lingering finish that leaves you craving another sip.

Winemaker Notes: This sweet red has a nose of red and black fruits with blackberry jam and plum shining through. Notes of candied pecans, cedar and Christmas spice come through as well. On the palate it is sweet but not syrupy with more of the rich black fruits coming through. It coats the whole palate and has a long, smooth finish. This wine is perfect for cold winter days by the fire.

Winemaker Notes: Crafted from our Late Harvest Zinfandel, this lovely dessert wine has been fortified with Barrel-Aged Brandy. It opens with aromas of plum, fig, raspberry, black cherry, blackberry and black currant. There are also notes of cinnamon, 5-spice and vanilla. Barrel-aged over 24 months, then hand bottled, this unfiltered, heavy-bodied wine has a long, sweet finish.

Winemaker Notes: Deep and inky in color, this wine opens with aromas of boysenberry, blueberry, black currants, and black cherry. Concentrated fruit like fig paste and plum sauce can be found as well. Oak aging brings forward aromas of anise, fennel, cardamom, clove and a sweetness similar to cola, molasses and butterscotch. Medium bodied, with a fresh acidity makes this a great wine to pair with food and the ability to bottle age for 2-6 years as the tannins continue to soften and mellow.

Winemaker Notes: Brioso means “Lively” in Italian. This wine is all of that with juicy acidity and medium tannins. Enticing aromas of licorice, blackberry jam, dried fig and a hint of cloves. Winemaker Notes: This lovely wine opens with jammy fruit notes of raspberry, strawberry, and blackberry. There are notes of chocolate covered cherry followed by licorice as it opens up. The finish is smooth with hints of baking spices from the oak on the back end.
2016 Reserve Syrah

Complex and deep, a blend of blackberry, black cherry and cranberry run across the nose accompanied by peppercorns and black currants. Hints of violets, fennel, sweet tobacco and butterscotch intertwine as the bouquet can open over some time to a subtle milk chocolate. This Syrah retains great acidity and follows with a smooth lasting finish, medium to high in soft, supple tannins.
